A wild police chase on I-95 made for a dangerous situation for other drivers, but three suspects were eventually apprehended.
News 12 is told the chase started in Westport following a theft at a local CVS. Police eventually broke off the chase, but then a state trooper spotted the vehicle in Norwalk and began to pursue it again.
Officers deployed spike strips in an effort to stop the suspects' car.
They say at one point, the suspects drove off the highway on a ramp before driving back on and hitting water barrels.
The crash finally ended near Exit 24 when the suspects' vehicle crashed into the median in Fairfield.
One suspect was arrested after he ran from the vehicle. Two other suspects were taken into custody while they were still in the vehicle.
All three suspects were booked in Westport.
Westport police have identified the suspects as Amanda Belcher, Calvin Smith and Komar Style.
