Fairfield police are investigating after a they say a school bus driver pretended to be asleep.
Investigators say a mother got a frantic call from her daughter yesterday saying the driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel.
The mother called 911 to report the incident.
Police say they talked to the driver who said it was just a prank and he thought the students were in on the joke.
