Police say one suspect is in custody after crashing a car into a building in Bridgeport.

The incident happened on State Street near Fairfield Avenue.

Officials say a driver was acting suspicious on Park Avenue. They say the car took off before they were able to pull it over.

Police say they saw the vehicle a few blocks over, but then lost sight of it again. They then say they saw that car crash into the building.

Police say the driver had admitted to having an outstanding warrant.

They also say a passenger, who owned the car, was not injured. That passenger is not facing charges.
