Stamford police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in a popular park.
Police say the suspect told a female jogger he had a knife and then raped her in an isolated area of Cove Island Park on Oct. 16.
Officials say he then dragged her near the water and raped her again.
Police believe the suspect lives in the area near the park and that he may have stalked the victim.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man at around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall. They say he has a stocky build with light facial hair.

Police are reminding people in the area to be vigilant.
Residents say they are shaken by the incident, and that the sense of security they once felt at the park is gone. Many of them tell News 12 they have a better idea of who to look for with the sketch of the alleged attacker.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Stamford police.
