Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain spent Wednesday in southwestern Connecticut.
McCain was part of a town hall meeting at Bridgewater Associates in Westport. Hundreds of employees gathered to hear the senator speak. McCain said a town hall meeting is a true expression of democracy. He added that he was glad to see many young faces in the crowd.
McCain spoke on topics such as the economy, climate change and dependence on foreign oil.
Bridgewater?s CEO, Ray Dalio, is a strong McCain supporter. Dalio and his colleagues have reportedly contributed more than $60,000 to his campaign over the last year.
