Shots fired near gender reveal party in Bridgeport
Dozens of shots were reportedly fired near a gender reveal party in Bridgeport Saturday night.
The incident happened on Armstrong Place around 7 p.m.
The host of the party said that everybody ducked for cover when they heard the shots.
Police say nobody was hurt.
The incident is still under investigation.
State Sen. Dennis Bradley is calling for police to step up patrols in the city.
"We want to stop victimizing people and we want to find ways to find actual solutions to these problems," Bradley, who is also chairman of the Public Safety Committee said.
