The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County is busy distributing turkeys and fixings to thousands of people in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
One young volunteer shows why it's important to serve others, especially at this time of year.
Ethan Fleck, 12, volunteers at the food bank in Stamford any chance he gets, like school holidays or early dismissals.
Ethan says he spends time sorting food, restocking shelves, and sweeping the floors.
He says his contributions may be small, but they can change someone's holiday.
The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County says it still needs about 9,000 turkeys to feed about 15,000 households this Thanksgiving.
