A woman in Stamford this morning is $1 million richer.
The state lottery says Lucrecia Veloz bought one of three tickets sold in Connecticut that matched the first five numbers in last week's record Powerball drawing.
News 12 was told she bought the winning ticket at Grocery Express on East Putnam Avenue in Old Greenwich.
