Chef's Quick Tips: Atlantic Salmon

 
This week Chef Brian Hayslip of Fjord Fish Market shows Tina Redwine how to make various seafood recipes.
 
 
Ingredients:
Fjord Fish Market - Atlantic Salmon Recipe
8oz. Fillet of Atlantic Salmon (Skin On)
5 Grape Tomatoes halved
3 Sprigs fresh Thyme
2 Cloves Garlic - roughly chopped
1/4 Cup Dry white wine
1 Tbls. Butter (optional)
Directions:
-Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
-Lightly season fish on both sides w/ kosher salt & ground black pepper.
-Place 1 Tbls. oil (or non-stick spray) in hot saute pan. 
-Place fish skin side up and saute 4-5 minutes until lightly browned. 
-Turn salmon over in pan (if it's sticking, continue cooking until it come off of the pan easily)
-Add butter, tomato, garlic, thyme & white wine.
-Place in oven and cook for 10-12 minutes.
-Place fish on dish and spoon mixture over fish.
