Police say they investigated a potential threat to Milford elementary schools which turned out to be a hoax.

Officers were stationed at all Milford elementary schools while the threat was investigated by the Detective Bureau.

It was determined that the threat was a hoax, originating from overseas.

Police will continue its presence at Milford schools throughout the day.
