The attorney for Aaron Ramsey says his client will plead insanity in the Wilton murder of his father.

Aaron Ramsey was arrested last May after police say he beat his father Edward to death and then stabbed him inside their home on Signal Hill Road. Investigators say Ramsey told them he heard voices telling him to kill his 73-year-old father.

The attorney for the 22-year-old said his client is currently at a psychiatric hospital after posting $1 million bond last week.

Ramsey will not be let out of the Whiting Forensic Unit at Connecticut Valley Hospital until he is cleared by doctors.
