The Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport says it is losing money as people cannot visit it during the pandemic.
The zoo says it has to balance prioritizing the comfort of the animals and postponing planned projects. Gregg Dancho, the director of the Beardsley Zoo, says that emergency donations won't last forever so they are focusing on being ready to reopen.
