The Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport is celebrating the birth of an anteater.
The zoo says the baby was born on Feb. 13, to parents EO, the dad, and Pana, the mom.
The pair was brought to the zoo with the hope of breeding last year.
Both mom and baby are off-exhibit for now, but the zoo says it plans to debut them this spring.
