The center lanes of the Grand Concourse were closed from 162nd to 165th streets on Sunday for Boogie on the Boulevard.
The event was hosted by the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
Kids got to paint and ride bikes, while adults learned to dance meringue and hip-hop.
The NYPD even brought in its rock climbing wall for residents to try.
Boogie on the Boulevard will be back on the last Sundays of July and August on the Grand Concourse.
