The Brooklyn Museum held the 10th annual Latke Festival Monday night.

More than 20 chefs from all over New York were competing to make the best traditional potato pancakes, with their own unique twists.

Most of the chefs had never cooked Jewish cuisine, so their challenge was to create their own version of the potato pancake.

The festival is a fundraiser for the Sylvia Center, which provides nutrition education and youth development to more than 2,000 young people annually across New York City.

The festval has served over 100,000 latkes in the last 10 years.

Mayor Bill de Blasio officially declared Monday as Latke Day.

More than 100 people attended the event.
