Coffee & Painting is combining craft and caffeine by offering both at its location.
The Fairfield store opened in February to offer an overflow of creativity.
It's a place where people big and small will find something to unearth their imagination.
"It's amazing and we're different, I think this is a special place in Fairfield," says Jade Castrillon, daughter of the owner of Coffee & Painting.
The new creative corner serves up a space for artistic activities such as painting ceramics, candle making and slime making, along with a sweet cafe to satisfy cravings.
The idea was brewed from a mother-daughter day out. In the middle of an activity, hunger set in and things got "hangry."
"We were out doing activities and both of my daughters started to get hungry. The place had no food, and my daughter began to get frustrated and caused a lot of anxiety," recalls owner Angy Navarro.
"I remember that time. Me and my sister felt stressed. We were hungry, we wanted to finish what we were doing and just go. So, we thought it was a great idea," says Castrillon.
They are excited to continue adding activities and items to their menu of offerings.
