Community on edge as accused toilet bomber returns to Weston
The community of Weston is trying to come to grips with the fact that the man accused of setting off explosives at several portable toilets in Connecticut is temporarily back in town.
A judge allowed Bruce Forest to be confined to his Spring Valley Road home for the next two weeks so he may attend three doctor appointments.
Weston Police Chief Tony Land says there's anxiety, since the nature of Forest's crimes was violent. However, Forest will be wearing an electronic monitoring device and Weston police officers will escort him to and from each of the appointments.
Forest is expected back in court on February 12. He is expected to plead guilty to one of the several charges against him.
