The long lines at gas stations across the state are trying the patience of many Connecticut residents.
Some tempers flared today as people waited in gas lines for hours to fuel their vehicles and generators. Customers said that they feel frustrated with the lack of utilities after Sandy rocked the area.
"I think they're getting scared because the gas is short and nobody knows when power is going to be restored," said one customer. "It's just crazy."
Both Connecticut Light and Power and United Illuminating say the scope of the damage makes it impossible to be more specific on restoration times. Both hope to have power restored by early next week.
