News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says some much needed rain is on the way on Monday afternoon and evening.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with potential of some rain pockets. Cold front skirts us to the west keeping more storms out of western CT. Gusty conditions throughout the afternoon and overnight. Highs near 74. Lows near 62.
TUESDAY: Some remaining showers linger into the morning commute. Sun and more clouds mix with a chance of stray shower in the afternoon. Active westerly winds, gusting towards 20 mph. Highs near 78 degrees. Lows near 60.
WEDNESDAY: Shower chances increase for both morning and afternoon. Highs near 75. Lows near 59.
THURSDAY: Sun and more clouds in the afternoon. Mild with highs near 78. Lows near 61.
