(02/26/07) THE BRONX ? Despite a five-game losing streak, the Manhattan Jaspers finished off the regular season strong Sunday with a 71-65 win over Iona.

Senior Guy Ngarndi, starting his last game at Draddy Gymnasium, did his part to help the team with 12 points. Antoine Pearson led Manhattan with 16 points on the day. The Jaspers held an 11-point lead at the half and eventually put the game away.

The Jaspers will now face Siena in the MAAC Tournament quarterfinals Saturday.
