Messy start with Sunday night's snow showers, a few spots start off below freezing so watch for some icing this morning. Temperatures in the lower to mid-40s as highs to start your week, making it a nice rebound at midday. With temperatures rising above freezing early on, it will be an ideal day for melting.
Overnight temperatures into Tuesday will also remain above freezing, minimizing the risk of refreezing, except in higher elevations and northern Litchfield County.
A cooling trend begins through Wednesday, with highs only reaching the mid-30s.
However, temperatures rebound to the mid-to-upper 40s on Thursday before trending downward again heading into the weekend.
The next significant chance of precipitation arrives midweek. Late Wednesday into early Thursday, a mix of rain, sleet, and snow is possible. Forecast details will become clearer as we get closer.
