Naugatuck police say they received reports that two kittens were thrown from a car Tuesday morning in the area of North Church Street and Route 63.

Officials say they located the two deceased kittens on the road.

Police say that witnesses observed an older white female with white hair driving the maroon sedan from where the kittens were thrown.

Officers are looking for a black sedan that was directly behind the suspect's vehicle.

They say the person had to swerve to avoid the animals, and they are looking to talk to them to hear what they saw.
