A neighbor is being hailed a hero for helping to rescue an elderly couple from a burning home in Belmont.  The flames broke out inside 2125 Hughes Ave. at around 7:30 p.m. Monday.  Witnesses say

A neighbor is being hailed a hero for helping to rescue an elderly couple from a burning home in Belmont. 
The flames broke out inside 2125 Hughes Ave. at around 7:30 p.m. Monday. 
Witnesses say one neighbor immediately ran into the two-story house to save the couple. That man told News 12 he acted on adrenaline when he sprang into action. 
In total, two families have been affected, but none of them were hurt. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries. 
The Red Cross is providing assistance, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
