A Norwalk man was in court today to hear the guidelines of a restraining order filed against him for allegedly pulling a knife on his girlfriend.
Joel Alvarado allegedly pulled the knife while his girlfriend was holding the couple's child. Police say that she had threatened to leave Alvarado.
Neither she nor the baby was injured during the altercation.
Police say that Alvarado may have to wait in prison until his next court appearance.
