Some Connecticut residents are avoiding the beach because of the return of sea lice.
Officials with the Greenwich Health Department say there haven't been an excessive amount of cases of sea lice reported, but the department is still urging people to take precautions.
Health officials in Greenwich say sea lice is caused by tiny creatures that invade the water. They say a few hours after swimming, people get a rash along their bathing suit line.
Officials say residents should remove their bathing suits and shower after being at the beach.
