The Stratford Animal Control is seeing donations to care for 8 Pekin ducks that a resident was raising for meat.

Officials say that the ducks were living in inhumane conditions and in violation of zoning law.

Animal control says a farm sanctuary can take them in but donations are needed for the ducks' housing and care.
