Subway riders at the Cypress Hills train station are on high alert after the NYPD said a female passenger was stalked aboard a J train earlier this week.
Investigators say the 48-year-old woman got off at the Jamaica-Parsons stop where the man began to follow her. He chased her inside a building where they began to argue. She, however, managed to get away without any injuries, according to police.
One woman told News 12 on Saturday that she does not want to travel on the subway by herself or with her kids.
Police say they are actively working to find the man responsible for the incident aboard the J train. He was described to be between the ages of 20 and 25, at around 5 feet 5 inches and 140 pounds.
