Norwalk police say a receipt from a fast food restaurant led to the arrests of two people wanted for breaking into a boat while a family slept inside.
Police say 20-year-old Julia Armijo, of Weston, and 23-year-old Renny Isaac, of Ridgefield, woke the family as they slept at Cove Marina Sunday morning.
Police say the two tried to make off with a wallet from the boat, but dropped it and ran after a struggle with the boat owner.
Police say Armijo left behind a bag of food from Taco Bell that she bought with a card.
They say an arrest came just hours later.
