Trumbull police say two people face charges after crashing a stolen car into a police cruiser Wednesday night. 

Officers arrested Manasia Bennett, of Middletown, and Maureece Fussell, of Wethersfield, after they say the driver drove toward them before hitting the cruiser and a pole. 

Bennett and Fussell tried to run from the scene but were caught, according to police.  

Police say they found drugs and two guns in the car.
