Officials in Wilton say they're investigating hateful messages about the ethnic makeup of the town that were posted on a Twitter account. The hateful words were posted under the handle @YouLiveInWilton and were aimed at Jews, African-Americans and Latinos. "We love black people... everyone should own one," read one of the messages. "{Expletive} Darien. Since they don't allow Jews to live in their town, they dump them on our land," another said.Wilton Schools Superintendent Gary Richards says he suspects the messages were anonymously posted by a high school student. A legal expert tells News 12 Connecticut that this type of speech is protected under First Amendment rights. Richards says he has contacted police regardless.
