Normally, students from Westhill and Stamford high schools are pitted against each other - but Sunday, they joined forces for a food drive.
Student volunteers organized the food drive to benefit senior citizens. The Westhill Angels also helped organized the event.
They're asking for food donations outside Stop and Shop, so seniors can remain home and safe during the pandemic.
The organization SilverSource has been delivering groceries through a team of volunteers to more than 200 seniors weekly.
Its CEO says the organization has provided over 92,000 meals since March, and volunteers say they're honored to protect the vulnerable population in their community.
